You know that a game is successful when the web store is full of clones that try to imitate the gameplay and the title name itself. Banana Kong is no exception. The smooth animations and quality gameplay indeed make it an eye catcher. Of course, we cannot help but notice that this game is also guilty for taking 'inspiration' from another successful franchise.

After a lengthy brunch consisting exclusively of bananas, our gorilla is about to be buried alive by an avalanche of banana peels. The only solution is to run as far as its legs and arms allows to delay the fateful event.

As any regular infinite runner, you get to jump and slide as well as glide in the air for a limited time. Bananas, the collectible currency is used to upgrade your abilities as well as increase you score multiplier. The runs are not as monotonous as they may appear to be. Once in a while you get the opportunity to descend in the subterranean realm, dive in some tropical crevasse or jump over the jungle canopy. Each present different challenges and have their own theme. The underwater level is particularly funny.

I like Banana Kong. The controls are good, the gameplay is varied and the graphics are perfect.
